I have been working on several combination defenses at handling this problem.
I feel the best technique for stopping the STREAK, FLY or GO pattern is the BUMP-N-RUN with a GOOD cover man. The cover man doesn't have to be great just GOOD! I favor MAN UNDERNEATH coverage's with either the Read-N-React or Bump-N-Run.
You just CAN'T sit back and let him BOMB away on you!!!!!You have to ALSO apply pressure on your opponents QB to stop those patterns to. 43 WHIP MAN - NICKEL LB BLITZ- NICKEL INSIDE BLITZ- NICKEL OUTSIDE BLITZ "this may not be the correct name - Both the LB's, NB BLITZ and another defensive scheme I have been having success with, the NICKEL Man.
